Mrs. Conn graduated from New Bedford High School in 1946 and St. Luke's School of Nursing in 1950. She worked as a registered nurse at St. Luke's Hospital and New Bedford Jewish Convalescent Home for 30 years. She retired in 1976 because of an injury.
